MPLS and Ethernet World Congress, SDN Summit & V6 World Congress Public Multi-Vendor Interoperability Test 2013
Paris, March 19-22, 2013
The European Advanced Networking Test Center in collaboration with Upperside Conferences invited everybody interested to our public multi-vendor interoperability showcase March 19-22. For the first time, the MPLS and Ethernet World Congress 2013 were co-located with the SDN Summit and V6 World Congress 2013.
With around 1,300 visitors attending the three conferences this year, they proved again to be the most important MPLS, SDN & V6 meeting points in Europe. At the conference, EANTC presented results in regular guided tours to 400+ conference attendees. Vendor representatives were present to answer individual questions. The showcase was open for the full four days of the conference (Tuesday to Friday) with 500+ hard copies of the white paper being handed-out.
The showcase focused on latest industry challenges:
- We proudly staged the first public Software-Defined Networks (SDN) multi-vendor interoperability test with a service provider focus worldwide, integrating SDN with established non-SDN service provider networks.
- As service providers rapidly deploy IPv6 at full scale, we assessed the readiness of all migration technologies.
- In the MPLS and Carrier Ethernet space, we evaluated the latest multicast, OAM and service activation management solutions.
- Across all technologies, we built mobile backhaul and wholesale access services.
