Automated E2E Certification with the EANTC Test Orchestrator

Automated E2E Certification with the EANTC Test Orchestrator

We are proud to announce that EANTC has successfully achieved, at the beginning of September, the first fully automated End-to-End (E2E) O-RAN Alliance certification and badging tests, using our Test Orchestrator.

The EANTC Test Orchestrator is an open-source-based, technology-independent automation platform, developed within the i14y Lab project, and designed to simplify complex certification workflows by unifying multiple vendor tools and lab systems into a single, automated pipeline.

With its intuitive user interface, it enables users to configure, execute, and generate certification reports without requiring deep technical expertise or manual intervention. Delivering consistent and reproducible results, free from human error that accelerate innovation and deployment readiness.

The platform combines a preconfigured catalog of O-RAN TIFG and TIP test cases with the flexibility to further customize them through a web interface, where resource reservation, test scheduling, and one-click report generation are seamlessly integrated. All results are automatically compiled into O-RAN Alliance compliant reports, delivered in just a few hours.

Using the EANTC Test Orchestrator, we successfully ran all O-RAN End-to-End Badging Tests for Software Radio Systems (SRS) and generated reports automatically, fully aligned with O-RAN ALLIANCE guidelines. From traffic profiles and scalability parameters to custom test scripts, everything can be seamlessly adapted and automated.

At the i14y Lab Summit 2025, we proudly delivered the O-RAN ALLIANCE End-to-End Badge to Software Radio Systems (SRS) for its srsRAN Enterprise 5G CU/DU. The solution has successfully passed all required functional and security tests, confirming the readiness for multi-vendor integration of the O-DU/O-CU product. The various mobility scenarios have been evaluated with SRS’ commercial software version
