CampusOS aims to support the development of an ecosystem for 5G campus networks based on open and modular radio technologies and interoperable network components. This is intended to enable vendor independence and more competition and innovation in order to strengthen the digital sovereignty of companies in Germany.
EANTC performs interoperability, scaling, performance, and other tests of radio network, transport, and core network components, terminals, and end-to-end systems in the project. We are involved in planning the test objectives (KPIs) and methods as well as documenting the results.
Agreeing on network requirements for different industry sectors as universally as possible will improve understanding between industry users on the one hand and network operators/system integrators on the other hand about disaggregated 5G campus networks, support an open market with many participants, accelerate implementation and enable more cost-effective quality verification.
