EANTC confirmed the interoperability between Huawei OceanStor Dorado V6 Storage solution with selected VMware platforms and plugins. The solution demonstrated the capability of storage resources discovery, storage management, monitoring, data replication, resources orchestration, and site recovery management successfully.

EANTC has been commissioned by Lenovo to verify the performance and scalability of the NFWare virtual Carrier-Grade Network Address Translation (vCGNAT) solution. In this test, the Lenovo ThinkSystem SR650 server hosted NFWare vCGNAT VM. EANTC tested the maximum throughput (Gbps), sessions setup rate (Sessions Per Second), and maximum concurrent sessions of NFWare vCGNAT.

Continuation to the previous report, published on February 2019, EANTC confirmed the performance gain that can be achieved by Intel QuickAssist Technology (QAT) using Fortinet FortiGate as a vSecGW. Our test of the Fortinet FortiGate showed that the Intel® QAT provides performance improvements in the virtualized environment by off-loading the compute-intensive encryption/decryption security operations to QAT adapters.

EANTC was commissioned by Intel to verify the performance gain of Intel Xeon Gold 6252N processors over Xeon Gold 6152 for a reference VNF which is F5 Networks BIG-IP Local Traffic Manager virtual edition.

Intel commissioned EANTC to verify the performance capabilities of the Palo Alto Networks virtual Next Generation Firewall (NG-FW) VM-700. EANTC’s tests were aligned with the use case of small data center NG-FW deployments. In these environments, HTTP/HTTPS traffic throughput and concurrent sessions are the significant parameters to evaluate the performance and the scalability of a NG-FW solution.

EANTC has been commissioned by Intel to evaluate the performance of a virtualized SGi firewall provided by F5 Networks and hosted on HPE ProLiant DL360 Gen10 servers provided by HPE.

EANTC was commissioned by Lenovo to verify the performance and service scalability of the Fortinet FortiGate as a virtual security gateway (SecGW). The VNF was deployed on Lenovo ThinkSystem SR650 compute nodes conforming to the Intel® Select Solution For NFVI program.

Cisco commissioned EANTC to conduct an independent performance test of its new Catalyst 9000 family switches. Our report includes the verification of throughput performance for IP packets (IPv4 and IPv6), Ethernet unicast and multicast frames. In addition, the report also contains scalability tests of the IP Forwarding Information Base (FIB) and Ethernet MAC table.
