Management
EANTC is led by its joint managing directors, Carsten Rossenhoevel and Gabriele Schrenk. Gabriele is responsible for finance and consulting services, while Carsten focuses on business development and innovation. Our Chairman, Herbert Almus, maintains a strong link with the Technical University of Berlin, underlining our close connection to research and academic excellence.
Ownership
EANTC AG is a German public limited company headquartered in Berlin. We are not listed on the stock exchange. Ownership lies with the senior management and a small group of private investors. All shares are registered with restricted transferability, ensuring stability, continuity, and long-term commitment to our independence.
Our History
EANTC was founded in 1991 by our Chairman, Herbert Almus, at the Interdepartmental Research Center for Networking and Multimedia Technology of the Technical University of Berlin. Initially, our work focused on research, development, and the testing and certification of FDDI systems.
By 1993, we had expanded into ATM and other high-speed networking technologies, offering seminars that quickly became valued across the industry for their practical focus.
In 1999, EANTC became an independent company, EANTC AG. Since then, we have continuously broadened our portfolio to address evolving technologies and customer needs. Today, EANTC is internationally renowned for its independent testing expertise, supporting vendors, service providers, and enterprises in validating and optimizing their networks.
