As a Test Engineer at EANTC, you will play a pivotal role in delivering independent and customized testing services to vendors and service providers. You will engage in cutting-edge projects that shape the deployment of next-generation network technologies globally.
You will create and review detailed test plans for individual devices or complete network environments. You will execute performance, scalability, conformance, and interoperability tests both in our lab and at customer sites worldwide. Your role will include designing and leveraging test automation scripts, documenting and analyzing test results in English, and presenting findings clearly and professionally.
Your Profile
We are seeking candidates with a master’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field with a focus on network communications technologies. Ideal candidates are highly engaged, self-organized, and take responsibility for their work. Strong communication skills are essential, including the ability to present complex technical topics clearly to a diverse, multicultural audience.
You are fluent in English and willing to learn German. You thrive on challenging projects involving advanced network technologies and enjoy solving complex problems, including root-cause analysis. You are deeply familiar with OSI layers 2–7, IETF, IEEE, ETSI/3GPP, and MEF standards, and have in-depth knowledge of IT and network infrastructures including routing, switching, WAN, and data centers.
Familiarity with network security components such as firewalls, VPNs, and encryption is highly desirable. Experience in designing or conducting telecom technology tests with vendors or service providers is a plus. Previous exposure to service provider or enterprise network operations and hands-on experience with test equipment from Keysight (Ixia) or Spirent is advantageous.
