EANTC analyzed the functionality of Huawei’s new Flex Ethernet (FlexE) network card, the ANK1EV2. We tested new capabilities of the FlexE technology; network slicing and its benefits as a congestion isolation mechanism, and FlexE bonding of Ethernet links. We verified the usability of this card in future 5th Generation mobile networks (5G).
