The NetSecOPEN initiative will develop a vendor-independent standard for testing enterprise network security performance. EANTC is looking forward to contribute our expertise to model a transparent and realistic benchmarking methodology for next-generation firewalls. The initiative is open to all interested in collaborating.

White Paper Out: NIA MANO Interoperability Showcase at Big Communications Event
The New IP Agency (NIA) and EANTC invited NFV vendors to participate in the next campaign of groundbreaking NFV evaluations. We examined interoperability between Management and Orchestration (MANO) functions and the Virtual Infrastructure Management (VIM). The test was combined with a live showcase at BCE, May 15-17.

The European research project, of which EANTC is a member, supports small and medium sized businesses and organisations to develop interoperability tests for the Internet of Things. The video offers an insight into the work and goals of the project as well as introducing the different involved partners.

Segment Routing, MPLS Ethernet VPNs & VXLAN, SDN in the WAN and Clock Synchronization are some of the focus aspects of our Paris showcase. As always, all interested vendors were invited to join and test the interoperability of their solutions during two weeks of hot-staging in Berlin.

EANTC tested interoperability of NFV Management and Orchestration (MANO) solutions, infrastructure (NFVI) and VNFs. Using our brand-new MANO test automation service, we evaluated network service management and scale-out with seven MANO open-source and commercial solutions. Stay tuned for more details.

White Paper: NIA NFV Interoperability Showcase at Big Communications Event
EANTC’s evaluation during one week of hot staging focused on service chaining plus additional features. The results were presented live at Light Reading’s BCE, May 24-25 in Austin, TX. EANTC, together with participating vendors, run live demos as well as published a detailed white paper that is available online.
