EANTC analyzed the functionality of Huawei's new Flex Ethernet (FlexE) network card, the ANK1EV2. We tested new capabilities of the FlexE technology; network slicing and its benefits as a congestion isolation mechanism, and FlexE bonding of Ethernet links. We verified the usability of this card in future 5th Generation mobile networks (5G).

EANTC verified that the ECS2 Advanced Suite solution can handle up to 500,000 DNS queries per second using a single compute server. We evaluated the performance after all DNS records were cached in DNS Shield. Based on current statistics, the solution is theoretically capable of handling a range of 17 - 33 million subscribers per compute node.

The independent test series was commissioned by Intel under the Intel Network Builders program.
