This post describes the four test axes of the 5GASP certification testing and how the certification grade is determined.

NetSecOPEN is excited to announce the publication of RFC 9411 – Benchmarking Methodology for Network Security Device Performance. Authored by distinguished members of NetSecOPEN, including EANTC, this pivotal document provides comprehensive benchmarking terminology and methodology for next-generation network security devices, including next-generation firewalls (NGFWs) and next-generation intrusion prevention systems (NGIPSs).

The O-RAN Global PlugFest Spring took place from April 17 – May 12, 2023, in the i14y Lab in Berlin, co-hosted by Deutsche Telekom and EANTC, and supported by Orange. The PlugFest focused on accelerating the maturity of products and solutions based on O-RAN specifications and validating multi-vendor interoperability and conformity to O-RAN specifications. 

We invited all vendors to join our annual multi-vendor MPLS SDN interop test event integrating new technologies and testing the latest innovations in EVPN, Segment Routing, SDN, and Time synchronization.

Based on the O-RAN ALLIANCE and Telecom Infra Project PlugFest results, EANTC and the PlugFest participants Accelleran, Node-H, and VIAVI demonstrated Open RAN End-to-End Automated Testing at the Mobile World Congress 2023 in Barcelona.

During the testing event, participating vendors got the opportunity to validate their individual solutions’ market readiness and explore multi-vendor interoperability. EANTC contributes to developing automated test methods and conducts joint interoperability tests together with strong project partners aligned with the European and global testing initiatives of the O-RAN ALLIANCE and Telecom Infra Project.

The Joint European O-RAN & TIP PlugFest Fall 2022 took place from October 24 to November 4, 2022, in the i14y Lab in Berlin, co-hosted by Deutsche Telekom, EANTC and Vodafone and supported by the i14y consortium partners.

We invited all interested vendors to our Multi-Vendor Interoperability Test in collaboration with the MPLS SD & AI Net World Congress 2022. The NETCONF testing took place from January 24-28, 2022, and the MPLS SDN testing from February 14-25, 2022 in Berlin, Germany. The results are published in one combined test report and presented live at the Congress from April 5-7, 2022 in Paris.
